There were mixed reactions over the viral video of a mother of a Queen’s College student attacking security guards of the school over the alleged abuse of her daughter, Afriupdate reports.
This news medium understands that the guards refused her daughter into the school because she fixed artificial eyelashes and was wearing nail polish.

In the viral video, the yet-to-be-identified woman also held the shirt of one of the security guards for turning back her daughter and calling her inappropriate names.
The development has sparked off diverse reactions from Nigerians who took to Twitter apportioning blames.
Some of them claimed that the school was wrong to have handled the situation like that, saying the student is still young.
According to them, what the student needed was to be disciplined by the school authority.
However, there were those that backed the action of the Queen’s College, saying the school is only protecting its standard and inculcating discipline.

They noted that the mother of the student should not have confronted the security guards who were merely doing their job.
Check out some reactions to the viral video below:
She's a teenager. Best thing to do is tell her to remove the lashes and clean her nails and never used them again when coming to school not video her and her mum this way. That woman that said "don't come back to queens college again" isn't qualified to be a teacher .

This queens college drama shows everything that is wrong with our society. Our school and even organizations have no standard ways of conflict resolution. If a child dressed indecently to school, who is suppose to deal with such act? Is it the security? 1/

Re: Queens College p yeah, Nigeria deals with the youths the way they do now because y'all have embodied this community discipline of abuse that gives others a right to abuse your kids. People now feel they have the right to treat us as they please cause our parents allowed it

Why would you be dragging & recording my child on the streets in the name of discipline like she's thief & not think I'll fight for her? Are you lot just looking for people to unleash your frustration & faux morality on? Queens College would have been sued if that were my child.

It's shameful a mother would fight the security guards after the school authorities of Queens College sent her daughter home for fixing eyelashes.
Some parents are responsible for their children's bad bahaviour.
