The Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s social investment N-Power scheme have already started receiving their Npower Stipend payment for the month of March 2020, Afriupdate reports.
This was confirmed by a graduate beneficiary of the scheme, who shared the update with this online news medium on Wednesday Afternoon, she disclosed that March allowance was paid very early in the day.

Earlier, sending a message to the government, Tayo told Afriupdate News: “The government should continue with their good deed; The Lord will reward them as they continue to help the youths.”
“Although, I’m not happy with the way they delay our payments this days”
“We are still expecting much from them, better than this, she added.
It would be recalled that beneficiaries (both Batch A and Batch B) throughout the federation had been expecting their March stipend, as they were promised ‘To be paid on Tuesday 14, April 2020’.
Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has said that N-Power beneficiaries throughout the country should expect Npower stipend payment from Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
She said: “Those responsible for processing the payment must do it in conformity with the necessary rules and regulations to ensure accountability,”.
“Now that the rules were followed strictly and the process concluded, I was given the assurance that they will start receiving credit alerts from their banks today, Tuesday, April 14, 2020,” she added.

The Federal Government recently announced that it spent ₦360 billion in two years to pay 500,000 graduates under its N-Power scheme.
The Federal Government N-Power programme has 500,000 volunteers who are engaged as teachers, health workers and agricultural extension officers, among other fields. They are deployed to various locations throughout the country offering their services to Nigerians. Each participant is paid a stipend of N30, 000 monthly (approximately 83 US Dollars).
