In Abeokuta, Ogun State, attackers shot and killed Olayiwola Adebari, a 27-year-old man, then robbed his neighbors of their cellphones.
The hoodlums broke into the victims’ home on Tinubu Street, Oke-Sokori, Abeokuta, around 1.30 a.m. on Sunday, according to our source.
The four shooters visited all of the rooms in the house and took the occupants’ phones, according to an eyewitness who did not want to be recognized.
“Until they broke into Olayiwola Adebari’s room and killed him.” He went on to say, “I think they’re cultists.”
According to reports, the perpetrators severed Adebari’s left arm and took it away, a customary practice among cultists.
The event was reported to police officers at the Ibara divisional headquarters, who reportedly went to the area and transferred the victim’s body to a mortuary.
