The Managing Director, Ore Industrial Park, Mr. Femi Akinkuebi, has said the industrial drive of the Ondo State government will drastically reduce the state’s unemployment.
He said Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration has plans to employ over 120, 000 persons in the next 12 years through the Ore Industrial Park.
According to him, the massive industrial drive is to avail youths, small and medium scale business owners the platform to thrive.
Akinkuebi disclosed this, yesterday, stating there is room for more expansion and investment in the Ore industrial hub.
He said the industrial park was created by Akeredolu to eradicate poverty, improve the standard of living, boost wealth creation, unleash the nation’s industrial potential and build a reputation for Nigeria in technology.
He also said the park provides the general public ample opportunity to be financially stable and economically viable by tapping into the numerous benefits the facility offers.
Ore Industrial Park is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the state government and Hessmac Industry Limited, on 1000 hectares of eco-friendly, economic and industrially zoned land.
He stressed that the park is made accessible to all because the government is interested in giving opportunities to its people and investors, thereby gaining more profit for the state.
