Video of a man filming an ambulance evacuating patients from his neigbourhood in Ikotun, a Lagos community has surfaced online.
A closer look at the video, one would discover that the man filming the incident seemed to be shaken as he records the ambulance evacuating “four patients”.
While filming the incident, the man can be heard calling the name of his street, Kayode Adeolokun street in Ikotun, Lagos, saying Coronavirus is real and appealed to people to take it seriously.
However, it has not been confirmed if the patients being evacuated are coronavirus (COVID-19) patients.
One of the medics who arrived with the ambulance had on a face mask but wore no gloves or coveralls, which are required for handling COVID-19 patients.
Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday recorded 238 new cases of the deadly virus, bringing tally to 2170.

According to NCDC, out of the 238 new cases recorded, 92 of the new cases were recorded in Kano, 36 in FCT, 30 in Lagos, 16 in Gombe, 10 in Bauchi, 8 in Delta, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Zamfara, 5 in Sokoto, 4 in Ondo, 4 in Nasarawa, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Edo, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Borno, 3 in Yobe, 2 in Adamawa, 1 in Niger, 1 in Imo, 1 in Ebonyi, 1 in Rivers and 1 in Enugu.
