Even the deceased in Bayelsa State cannot rest in peace as the water level keeps rising, as the flood has exhumed corpses from shallow graves at the Bayelsa State cemetery in Yenagoa.
Residents of Yenagoa claim that for more than two weeks, the stench from the cemetery has been intolerable as a result of the corpses being exposed by the flood. The cemetery is located off Azikoro village road.
