Kingsley Coman has welcomed the reports linking him with a switch to Manchester United but insists he is content at Bayern Munich, for now.
The French star has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Manchester United and Manchester City touted with an interest in him.
The former Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain ace is under contract at Bayern until June 2023 and they are in no rush to let the player go, with Coman making 15 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign.
He has netted twice in the Bundesliga and scored three in four appearances in the UEFA Champions League.
With the arrival of the German star Leroy Sane and the return of Douglas Costa to Die Roten, Kingsley was concerned about his game time at Bayern, which led to talk about his future.
He is happy for elite clubs to be interested in him but insists he is happy in Bavaria.
‘It’s good to know that good teams are interested in me, it gives me additional confidence,’ Kingsley told Bild.
‘But I have a contract here until 2023, I’m just thinking of Bavaria. It’s all good, I’m happy.’
He admits he had concerns about the strong competition for places but says it hasn’t been a problem, for now.
‘I had the feeling that I could be used less often. I’m 24, that’s an age I have to play! Fortunately, my fear did not come true,’ he continued.
‘At the moment I’m in a good mood, but maybe that will change in two months.’
Hansi Flick’s side have been in typically excellent form this term, sitting top of the German top-flight and without a defeat in any competition since 27 September.
