The left-back says that he’s happier to assist than to score.
“I’m rather happy to assist than to score. My goal comes once in 100 shots,” Jordi Alba jokingly said after the 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.
The last time the 31-year-old scored a goal before Wednesday was actually in June 2020 when the Spaniard both scored and assisted against Mallorca (4-0).
Alba has been involved in 6 league goals this season – more than any other defender in La Liga.
