The news of Alexandre Lacazette’s imminent return is great news for the Gunners. The Arsenal striker has been out of action since picking up his injury in the north London derby against Spurs in early September.
But he has now returned to full training with the team, and could even be in line to play against Sheffield United in the Gunners’ trip to Bramall Lane on Monday night.
The Gunners confirmed that the 28-year-old is back in full training, tweeting a video of him heading out to training, where he is welcomed back by boss Unai Emery. Of course the supporters will be delighted to see Lacazette back, but you can bet they’re not as happy as one member of the Arsenal squad. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has something of a bromance with the French striker and will be delighted to welcome the frontman back into the first team. The pair have forged a strong partnership both on and off the pitch meaning that we could be about to see the best of both stars in the coming weeks. Arsenal posted a video on their official Instagram page with the caption, “how good is it seeing this guy back in training”, something that Aubameyang couldn’t help but respond to. He posted: “Back again @Lacazettealex”. A simple message, but we all know that the Arsenal frontman will be buzzing to line up alongside his best pal once again.
