Ben White missed Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday after becoming the latest player from the Gunners to test positive for COVID-19.
The 23-year-old defender featured for Arsenal in last week’s 2-0 loss to newly-promoted Brentford. Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Willian and Alex Rúnarsson all missed the game after testing positive for COVID-19.
Manager Mikel Arteta at the time only said the players were ill.
Arsenal face a high-flying Chelsea side that opened their season last weekend with a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are themselves bolstered with the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, the second-highest scorer in the Serie A last season.
