The German was a fringe player under the previous boss but has started both games uder THomas Tuchel.
Antonio Rudiger’s agent Saif Rubie appears to have taken a swipe at Frank Lampard for the treatment of his client.
After Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Burnley, the agent posted a message which can be described as ‘cheeky’:
“How many clean sheets is that for you Rudi when you’ve started for Chelsea this season in all comps? Asking for a friend. Thanks,” the tweet reads.
In fact, Rudiger helped Chelsea to keep seven clean sheets when starting this season across all competitions, including 4 cleans sheers in 6 Premier League starts.
That is despite Lampard not trusting him enough in the first part of the season: until the turn of the year, he only started 2 games in the league.
There were even rumours about Rudiger being a disruptive force at the training ground; fortunately, they were quickly denied by other players.
