- Barca eye Rodrigo as a replacement for injured Suarez.
- Los Che value him at €60m and won’t sell for less.
- Marca say that the clubs could agree to include players in the deal.
- Valencia are interested in Barca B’s leader Monchu, as well as Wague and Perez, Marca report.
Following Alejandro Marques, another Barca B player could leave this winter. This time, we’re talking about highly-rated midfielder Monchu.
As Madrid-based outlet Marca report, Valencia and Barcelona are working on a deal that could see Rodrigo move to Camp Nou. In order to make it possible, the Catalans could agree to let some of their young talents leave. The same source insists that Barca B’s Monchu was the first name mentioned during the talks.
The 20-year-old is having a good season with the reserves. Despite playing as a defensive or central midfielder, Monchu has managed to score six goals and provide one assist in 20 matches. Besides him, Valencia could be interested in Moussa Wague and Carles Perez, as Quique Setien is ready to part ways with them.
Los Che have slapped a €60m price tag on the striker and won’t settle for anything less. Barca don’t have enough cash at the moment that’s why they are looking at different options to lower the price. Besides including someone in the possible transfer, they also consider bringing Rodrigo on loan and buying him in summer.
