Setien wasn’t paid for the remaining year on his contract when Barca sacked him in August.
Now he demands full compensation.
The 62-year-old launched a lawsuit against his former club more than a month ago.
“Barca didn’t compensate me or offer me anything. The lawsuit against the club was filed more than a month ago, before the deadline,” Quique Setien said on El Partidazo de COPE.
“They didn’t even call me to tell me I was fired.”
Barcelona announced Setien’s sacking from the club on August 17. He wasn’t paid for the remaining year on his contract at the time of his dismissal. Now he wants to get full compensation in court.
In September, Setien revealed that he was officially informed by the club about his sacking only on September 16, one month later, via burofax.
