According to Cadena COPE (5 stars), Barcelona’s transfer budget for this summer will be €200m.
Here’s how, in our opinion, this money could be spent.
€40m – Robert Lewandowski. The Catalans are expected to raise their offer in the coming days. Barca want to present him before July 15.
€80m – Bernardo Silva. It’s assumed that Frenkie de Jong will not continue at the club, and the Portuguese is expected to be his replacement.
€65m – Jules Kounde. Xavi wants to strengthen the defence and sees the Frenchman as the perfect partner for Ronald Araujo.
€5m – Cesar Azpilicueta. The Catalans might have to pay a small fee to sign the right-back.
€10m – Marcos Alonso. The left-back has a contract until 2023 and is valued at €12m by Transfermarkt, so a fee in this region should be enough.
Total: €200m
Of course, Barca are also expected to make some sales this summer. So who knows, maybe there will be enough money to make a bid for Raphinha as well.
