Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea over Cesar Azpilicueta’s move, reports Diario Sport’s Javier Giraldo.
The Catalans will pay between €4m and €4.5m for the defender.
The player will sign a 2-year deal with an option of extending it for one more year.
The club are expected to announce the move in the coming days. He will join the team shortly afterwards.
Azpilicueta is expected to play at right-back next season. The 32-year-old could also play at centre-back if needed.
