- He’s the one responsible for the BarcaGate scandal – the board reportedly hired a PR company to create fake accounts on social media in order to denigrate the images of the club’s legends like Leo Messi, Xavi, Pep Guardiola and Gerard Pique.
- Masferrer’s management generated a lot of controversy at the club.
- As a reminder, Barca’s interim president has promised that no members of the resigned board would be involved in managing the club until the presidential election takes place.
