- Barcelona are aware of the interest and have reportedly told his agent that, should the Bundesliga outfit decide to make an offer, they are ready to talk.
- The Catalans would consider accepting an offer above the €75m plus €11m in add-ons they paid for De Jong back in 2019.
- Frenkie is playing his second season at Camp Nou but his performances haven’t been at the same level as at Ajax.
- So far, the 23-year-old has registered two goals and five assists in 57 matches for Barca.
- It should be mentioned that the Dutchman has recently renewed his contract with Blaugrana; his current deal runs until 2026.
