Eric Bailly was taken off in the first half of the FA Cup clash away at Watford on Saturday after colliding with Dean Henderson.
Although it was feared that the Ivorian might have suffered a serious concussion, the centre-back wanted to come back on the pitch and finish the game.
According to the BBC correspondent Shamoon Hafez, Manchester United’s medicals staff had to usher the 26-year-old down the tunnel in accordance with FA’s guidelines.
