The Frenchman insists that the squad knows how difficult it’ll be to actually win the title.
But Pogba insists that United have to believe they can win the league because anything can happen this season.
When asked about whether he and the Man United squad realizes how difficult it’ll be to win the Premier League, Paul Pogba told the club’s official website: “Of course. We’re there but we know it’s going to be tough, very, very difficult.
“We know it. Beautiful things don’t come easy, so we know we’re going to have to get through this. We’re there and it’s going to be very hard. How much we want it, that’s the question because I think we can [do it].”
He also spoke on just how much United want to win it, saying: “Very much, very much. It’s hard work, but we have to keep the focus and keep our heads and keep doing what we’ve been doing. The last game, winning like that, makes the difference I think.
“You never know in this league, it’s always very hard. I think we’ve been doing great with our results and performance, all of the team. It’s our focus. We know we can do it and we have to believe. Anything can happen.”
For United to take a big step forward in the title race, they must defeat Liverpool at Anfield in a game where Pogba must be at his absolute best. The French midfielder has been in excellent form in recent weeks and must maintain that to guide the Red Devils to a big win, which can help us move 6 points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table.
