Manchester United star midfielder Paul Pogba has picked up a thigh injury while training with France. As reported by ESPN, the injury looks not so pleasing and the French midfielder could be unavailable to play for about two months.
Pogba joined the French squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier match against Kazakhstan and Finland. He suffered a thigh injury while participating in the shooting drill session with his teammates.
The club has confirmed the news regarding the player’s injury and has revealed that the player has returned to the club for further evaluation. He will be unable to play against Watford next week.
Paul Pogba is already been suspended for two matches after he received a red card against Liverpool. His absence will be a major blow for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has increased pressure to deliver results.
Pogba’s French teammate Raphael Varane is also injured and will be unable to return back this month. With United having tough fixtured in the upcoming weeks against Villarreal and Chelsea, such injuries will be hard to digest.
His initial test has revealed that he could be unavailable to return until December. He will also be allowed to sign a pre-contract and hold talks with any club from January.
United will have to act swiftly and hand Pogba a new contract before January.
