Given the lack of other options at right-back, it seems logical for Willams to stick around as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to hint at more game time for the academy graduate.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s departure is another factor that complicates an exit for Williams – even though the boss did not rule out a loan for him before the start of the transfer window.
