Ousmane Dembele could be heading to Chelsea this summer window, Afriupdate reports.
Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele could finally be on his way to reunite with his former manager Thomas Tuchel as a move to Chelsea is on the table.
France International refused to extend his stay in Barcelona as reports are claiming he is already on his way out of the team he joined from Borussia Dortmund.
His move to Barcelona didn’t work out as expected despite it being a record-breaking contract that amassed to €130 million-plus an ad.
He barely made an impact during the duration of his five years stay which was filled with injuries and fitness issues leaving him to miss a huge amount of matches.
The Spanish side barely got what they spent on him as the move proved to be a wrong one for them despite all the amount of money paid to make it happen.
Ousmane Dembele has now run out of contract and is likely to join Chelsea which reports claimed talks are already going on.
According to Transfer News Live, they claimed Chelsea has offered a 4-year deal to France International which is yet to respond.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Chelsea has offered a 4-year contract for Ousmane Dembélé!
“The English club is now in pole position to sign the French winger. (Source: Sport).
This move could prove to be a good one which can revive his career knowing he will be working with the manager who gave him his first shot.
Thomas Tuchel was in charge of Borussia Dortmund when Ousmane Dembele took European football by storm in the German Bundesliga.
His form led to Barcelona signing him for a record-breaking fee which ended up being a bad business for them and a wrong decision by the player.
