Christian Eriksen will become a Man United player this summer.
Manchester United Football Club confirmed the signature of Tyrell Malacia earlier this week, with the Red Devils finally kickstarting their summer transfer window.
Although pre-season tour starts tomorrow, work behind the scenes to bring further players in is still ongoing. Amongst the deals that are thought to be close is a move to bring in Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.
The Dane will leave Brentford upon expiry of his contract with the London club, with a whole host of sides vying to pick him up on a free transfer.
Well, it looks as if United have won that race to acquire the 30-year-old, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Apparently, Eriksen ‘will be unveiled’ as a new United player on a three year deal, with Eriksen already confirming that news to other clubs who were interested in bringing him in.
According to Romano, Ten Hag ‘strongly wanted’ Eriksen, which is a big reason behind why the attacking midfielder has decided to make a move to Manchester.

We’ve been pretty strong in our belief that this is an astute piece of business from the Old Trafford club. Eriksen, on a free transfer, is a really nice pickup for a variety of reasons.
Not only will Eriksen bring some much-needed experience to a pretty young dressing room. he’s also an excellent player. We saw him back to his best at the back end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Ten Hag has also worked with Eriksen recently. Ajax gave the Dane a chance to build his fitness back up on their training pitches back in January before his move to Brentford that very same month.
Hopefully, this deal is official in the not too distant future.
