It’s been reported that Barcelona have given up on the idea of signing Carlos Soler this summer.
However, this doesn’t mean that the Catalans will not sign a midfielder this summer. As per reports, there are at least three other players in this position that Barca are interested in – Bernardo Silva, Ruben Neves and Martin Zubimendi.
Neves and Zubimendi are viewed as potential replacements for Sergio Busquets. Bernardo, on the other hand, is an option to bolster Barca’s creativity on the pitch.

Neither of these signings will happen unless the club sells Frenkie de Jong, though.
