Juventus beat Barcelona 3-0.
Cristiano Ronaldo says he’s not sure about whether there was a pen early in the first half.
However, he’s sure that Juventus were the better side because they scored more goals.
“I don’t know if it [the Araujo-Ronaldo episode] was a penalty but when you score three goals, there is no doubt about who was the better side,” Cristiano Ronaldo has told Movistar.
If we take a look at the xG (expected goals) map, we’ll see that Juventus have indeed outplayed Barca. However, if we remove the penalty kicks (each one is worth about 0.76), we’ll see that the Catalans were slightly better from open play than their opposition.

Anyway, this is not an excuse and we should work on converting our scoring chances.
