- Earlier, interim president Carles Tusquets promised to hold the elections ‘around Christmas’.
- The registered presidential candidates are Victor Font, Lluis Fernandez, Jordi Farre, Agusti Benedito, Toni Freixa and Xavi Vilajoana while former boss Joan Laporta hasn’t yet officially confirmed his intentions.
- Despite the coronavirus pandemic, electronic voting is unlikely to be allowed.
