Lingard will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season at West Ham.
Moyes believes the Englishman can play pretty much anywhere in attack.
Speaking about West Ham’s transfer activity, David Moyes said: “Jesse Lingard will give us more options, more attacking options.
“It’s because he can play in probably nearly all the positions along the front line, he can play as a midfield player as well.
“Hopefully we can try and continue the second half of the season as well as we started the first half of the season.”
Lingard has played on each side of the attack as well as a no.10 at Manchester United with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer singling out the Englishman’s ability to press.
The Hammers will reportedly pay £1.5 million to keep the 28-year-old until the end of the 2020/21 campaign on top of covering a 100 per cent of his wages.
