Things might come to a head in just a few months.
Dean Henderson will seek to leave Man United in the summer if he’s not made the first-choice goalkeeper, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The 23-year-old has already expressed his frustration about the lack of playing time in the Premier League to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
So far, he’s only made 2 league appearances this season, with the last of them coming on December 17 against Sheffield United.
Several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham have previously expressed interest in Henderson.
However, a permanent transfer could be difficult due to the financial issues caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and United’s £40m valuation of their academy graduate.
