Here’s how our players fared in the last match of 2020.
- Ousmane Dembele — 8.5
Dembouz was the spark we missed in the first half. His introduction after the break was key to Barcelona improving in attack, as Ousmane was extremely active down the right wing. Besides, it was Dembele who saved us a point.
- Pedri — 8.5
The youngster was Barca’s best performer if we take into account the whole game against Eibar, being reliable both in the first and in the second halves. As always, Pedri’s creativity helped us a lot upfront while his hard-work and intensity were useful in defence.
- Junior Firpo — 8
Junior got his chance only because Jordi Alba was suspended, but he didn’t disappoint. He was good at both ends on the pitch and even assisted Dembele’s goal. He could’ve ended up with two assists if Martin Braithwaite weren’t offside.
- Ronald Araujo — 4
A rollercoaster of a game for the Uruguayan, as he won a penalty in the first half and then made a goal-leading mistake after the break. Araujo had a decent match beside the said error, but he did cost us the win.
- Antoine Griezmann — 4
In Leo Messi’s absence, Griezmann was supposed to assume his responsibilities, but he was completely absent throughout the game, barely contributing in attack. Was it the wrong position again?
