Nigerian attacker Emmanuel Dennis is set to leave the English Premier League side, Nottingham Forest for a club in the Turkish Super Lig.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday disclosed on X (formerly Twitter) that Dennis only has to make a final decision on the transfer.
“Understand Emmanuel Dennis has now decided to play in Turkey — he’s close to leaving Nottingham Forest,” Romano wrote.
“Told Adana Demirspor and Istanbul Başakşehir presented loan bids with 100% salary covered, Dennis will make final decision soon.” he added.
Romano further said that CSKA Moscow of Russia came in with a proposal to sign Dennis but the club was given no chance at all.
Dennis might after all get to make his third consecutive summer move before the end of the current transfer window in Turkey.
Reports have always linked the forward with an exit from Forest where he has so far failed in his effort to get playing time.
Forest pounced to land Dennis in a £20million swoop in the summer of 2022 following Watford’s relegation to the SkyBet Championship.
That was after he had impressed for the Hornets, bagging 10 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League appearances in the 2021/22 season.
The hope was that Dennis would be able to replicate those numbers for Forest but it just didn’t happen.
Dennis managed just six league starts last season and just 715 Premier League minutes in total.
