Before retirement, the gaffer had a clear idea on which of his players could succeed as managers.
He named Ryan Giggs and Evra himself as two to have great coaching careers.
Speaking about the player’s Sir Alex tipped to succeed as managers, Patrice Evra said on his Twitter: “You know, Sir Alex Ferguson said before he retired that two players are going to become great managers
“He said Ryan Giggs and myself. So I was like ‘yeah, come on boys’.He said: ‘Patrice, you got everything’.
“You know how to communicate with people, you know how to drive people,” the Frenchman further added.
Giggs has already embarked into management and is currently doing a pretty good job as the manager of the Wales national team. Evra is working on his coaching badges right now and will be hoping to make his former gaffer proud by enjoying a successful coaching career.
Sir Alex is said to be delighted with how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is managing United right now and will hope his former player is able to take the Red Devils back to the top of English football soon.
