Thiago Silva’s contributions to keeping 10 clean sheets in 21 league appearances have led to Chelsea reportedly offering to renew his contract.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea have offered to renew Silva’s contract, saying, “Thiago Silva contract extension with Chelsea would be activated at the same economic conditions as the current contract.
“#CFC want to keep him also for the next season as of today, confirmed. It’s up to Thiago – positive feelings.”
The Blues centre-back is reportedly on £100,000 per week at Chelsea.
Thiago Silva has scored 2 goals, adding to the leadership and stability he already brings to Chelsea’s defence.
