Reddit user and Barcelona fan 1ngK comes up with a perfect explanation why it’s hard for Antoine Griezmann to adapt to the new club and to find his best role on the pitch.

1ngK wrote: “I won’t even say he needs a position. He’s always a free man who looks to involve in the game, so basically, overlapped with Messi.
“If you want him to be fixed as a striker or elsewhere, yeah, he can do a decent job but don’t expect him to be the Atleti Griezmann because in that way he will never be at his best.

“The same as Messi, if you want him to adapt to left wing, do you think he will be as good as he is now? Obviously, no.”

On Griezmann’s current role at Barca, the same fan added: “Though, he’s the only one somewhat being able to play as a striker, so he has been playing there for recent games. Did a fairly good job too, all he needs is getting back his shooting boots.”
