A fan could be about to collect a tidy little sum after placing a bet on Jesse Lingard not scoring or assisting in the Premier League this season.
Way back in August when the season started, Antony Johnson put £3.30 on Lingard drawing a blank in the entire campaign.
With two games remaining and Lingard unlikely to start given he’s only been in the United squad on two occasions for the last seven league fixtures, it’s looking like the bet could come in.
If Lingard doesn’t get a goal contribution against West Ham or Leicester City, then Anthony will have a nice £135.30 coming into his account from a very unique but straightforward bet.
