It’s another weekend and for FPL managers, deadline is just a few hours away with Chelsea and Crystal Palace kicking things off at 12:30. Here are my Gameweek 4 selections.
In goal, Alex Mccarthy of Southampton faces a West Brom side that have scored in only one of their games and that was in last week’s first half Blitz against Chelsea.
I have gone with a back three again with Reece James, Roman Saiss and James Justin.
Saiss, again, offers cleansheet and attacking potentials with Wolves one of the most organised teams in the division. Reece James is a constant threat in attack while James Justin at 4.7 million is a must have given how much he attacks and the fact he’d free up funds to be used elsewhere.
Greenwood hasn’t found his feet so far this season but he’s just one of those more likely to produce points that I didn’t transfer him out. He’s playing spurs though.
Maddison is fully fit now and with Denis Praet injured in last weekend’s win at City – in which he also scored a world ie and won a penalty-, he should start against a leaky West Ham defence. Kevin De Bruyne, again, best player in the league and whenever Man City players produce big points, most times he’s got to be involved. Raheem Sterling has been captained. With less than 10% ownership, Sterling is capabl6of scoring big against Leeds United’s high defensive line. He’s a differential if he has the captain armband. Pondence at 5.6 million, couldn’t miss out on him.
My two forwards from last week retain their place. Jimenez did score an own vs West Ham, hence returning zero points but he’s a consistent scorer and should find things easier vs Fulham. Ings faces West Brom who also shipped in three goals against Chelsea and have conceded 11 goals so far this season. He’s a great pick too having found the net 3 times in two games and much cheaper than the likes of Werner and Martial.
