Norwegian forward Erling Haaland and Phil Foden secured hat-tricks as they thumped Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United 6-3 in a super Sunday derby.
Both sides had come into the game with respective wins against their opponents with Ten Hag insisting the match wasn’t a duel between Haaland and his defender Lisario Martinez.
Foden’s 8th minute, 44th minute and 72nd minute as well as Haaland’s 34th 37th and 64th-minute goals were enough to give the City side an emphatic victory despite a late rally from United to reduce the deficit
