Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman says he has been flattered by the interest being shown in him from other clubs in recent months.
Manchester United were seriously considering making an offer for the 24-year-old as they weighed up possible alternatives to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, while Manchester City have also been linked with the Frenchman.
Coman, who scored the winning goal for Bayern against PSG in the Champions League final back in August, remains very much a key first-team player for the Bundesliga club and the player claims he is not looking to leave:
“Knowing that good teams are interested in me is good, it gives me extra confidence. But I have a contract here until 2023, I only think about Bayern. It’s all good, I’m happy.”
The France international has been in very good form this season, scoring five goals and providing nine assists in just 15 appearances for the German champions
In any case, recent reports have suggested that United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned his attention away from signing another winger, with a move for Erling Haaland now being looked at instead.
