Araujo says he’s disappointed that Barca didn’t get the 3 points vs Valencia.
The centre-back reckons that the team made some mistakes at the back but the dynamics were great overall.
“It was the most important goal in my career, I want to dedicate it to my family and my wife. I am happy to have scored my first goal for this great club. But [I’m] sad due to the draw, we wanted the 3 points,” Ronald Araujo said after the match against Valencia.
“We wanted to win. We made some mistakes at the back, we have to keep working. Our dynamics were great.”
Araujo scored his first Barcelona goal with an amazing sideways bicycle kick, it took him 13 matches to net for the first time. The Uruguayan also scored six goals in 44 matches for Barca B.
