- De Gea should’ve done much better in the 3-3 draw on Saturday.
- Redknapp has questioned the Spaniard’s goalkeeping ‘authority‘.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Manchester United’s 3-3 draw with Everton, Jamie Redknapp said: “The third goal, David De Gea as a goalkeeper has got to take everything.
“He’s got to be brave and assess the situation. If he comes out with authority I have no doubt he wins this. He was at fault for the first goal and certainly at fault there.”
The Toffees scored an equaliser form the set-piece with their last kick of the game at Old Trafford on Saturday with De Gea failing to clear the ball.
The Spaniard has saved just 60.9% of the shots on goal in the Premier League this season, the second-worst save percentage for any goalkeeper with over 15+ appearances.
