Superagent Jorge Mendes has offered Barcelona to sign Ruben Neves in a swap deal.
Barca would be able to trade Ansu Fati for the Portuguese midfielder while also receiving some extra money.
The problem is that the Catalans do not want to sign Neves while Fati doesn’t want to leave. Thus, this swap deal is unlikely.
Instead of Ruben Neves, Barcelona are going to land Ilkay Gundogan who would arrive as a free agent.
As for Fati, the 20-year-old reportedly will leave the club only if Xavi directly tells him that he is out of favour for the next season.
