“I’m very happy to be here,” Franck Kessie said during his unveiling as a Barca player.
“I want to do great things here at Barça. I’m very happy to be part of this big family and this big club,” the midfielder added.
In his speech, Barcelona president Joan Laporta reminded the new signing of Yaya Toure, who’s also Ivorian like Kessie.
“From Kessie’s country, we already had a player like Yaya Toure, who gave us good performances,” Laporta said.
“I am sure that Kessie will be very important for Barca too.”
