- Samuel Umtiti hasn’t made a single appearance for Barca this season.
- Ronald Koeman explains that the Frenchman is not at his best physically.
- However, he assures he still counts on Samuel as a squad member.
“Umtiti? I think he’s still missing something physically. He is training but in certain aspects he cannot do everything with the group. In a while, if he’s okay, he’s one of the squad,” Ronald Koeman has told Mundo Deportivo.
Samuel Umtiti has been injured since July, and he’s yet to make his debut under the new coach. Because of his recurring injuries, the Frenchman has played only 33 games since the start of the 2018/19 season.
