- Setien has said in a recent interview that Messi is a difficult player to manage.
- Koeman disagrees, claiming that he talks to Messi every week about both on- and off-the-field stuff.
“I respect Quique Setien’s words [about it being hard to coach Leo Messi] but I disagree. I have no difficulty coaching Messi. I talk to Leo every week, about on-field and locker room stuff. I don’t share the opinion that he’s hard to manage,” Ronald Koeman said during the presser ahead of the Dynamo Kyiv clash.
Former Barcelona coach Setien revealed in a recent interview that it was difficult for him to manage Messi, saying he doesn’t speak much but manages to make you see things the way he does.
