- Ronald Koeman recalls talking to Ansu Fati about concentration the day before.
- He has to improve in this regard because he sometimes easily loses the ball, Koeman explains.
- Anyway, his quality is undeniable, the Dutchman adds.
“I would advise him [Fati] to keep working and keep improving. Yesterday we talked about concentration for a while. In that sense, he has to improve because sometimes his ball losses are due to concentration and not his quality,” Ronald Koeman has said ahead of the Alaves clash.
“In that sense, he has to improve and he can rely on us [the coaching staff] every day. He is a great talent and we have to help him improve things in his projection. You have to be prepared every day to improve,” the Dutchman explained.
Against Real Madrid, when Ansu Fati played the full game, the 17-year-old got once dispossessed and made just 18 passes, three of them being inaccurate. The teenager, however, managed to score Barca’s only goal of the game by tapping in from Jordi Alba’s cross.
Fati is currently Barca’s top goalscorer this season. The youngster has netted 5 goals in all competitions.
