“Leo had some ankle discomfort. He couldn’t train or play tomorrow, that’s why we have given him two more days of vacation,” Ronald Koeman has just said, referring to Leo Messi’s confirmed absence against Eibar on Tuesday.
The coach added: “Messi will return after the game with Eibar. The doctors say that a week without training will be good for Leo.”
Barcelona confirmed on Sunday that Messi won’t play against Eibar because of an ankle injury.
