Koeman says that Dembele still needs a few more training sessions before he can play again.
The coach reveals that Ousmane will miss the upcoming match but should be ready for the Eibar clash.
“Ousmane Dembele did a part of the training with the substitutes yesterday who always work more on the day before the match, he still needs more training before he can return. If all goes well, he will be called on December 19 against Eibar,” Ronald Koeman said during the press conference ahead of the Real Valladolid match.
Dembele is currently out with a hamstring injury and has missed Barcelona’s last four matches. So far this term, the Frenchman has scored four goals and provided two assists in 12 matches.
Barca will face Real Valladolid away on Tuesday, December 22.
