“We are working on it. Everything is going quite well. We will announce it when the papers have been signed and it will have to be approved by the Assembly,” Joan Laporta has told Mundo Deportivo in regards to the Spotify talks.
“We, the board of directors, think that this is the best option for Barcelona’s shirt. It links us to music.
“It is a great decision, I hope that everything works out and we hold the Assembly. In the agreement we have, they ask us to approve it at the Assembly so they can announce it as soon as possible.”
According to reports, the Spotify deal will bring Barca €93.3m per season. They will have their name on men’s and women’s shirts, the training shirts, and also hold the title rights to Camp Nou.
