“Setien likes the limelight,” Las Palmas’ president Miguel Angel Ramirez told Radio Marca, referring to the former coach’s infamous take on Leo Messi.
“There’s not much merit in saying what Messi did when he left the club.”

Still, Ramirez found some nice words on Quique, adding: “He did the same with Las Palmas and Lugo, but that does not detract from the fact that he is a good coach.”
As a reminder, Setien has recently revealed it was difficult for him to manage Messi.
In total, Leo played 24 games under Setien, registering 15 goals and 18 assists, according to Transfermarkt.
