Chelsea have four weeks left of this summer’s transfer window to add to what has already been a fantastic period of business for the Blues.
Frank Lampard’s side have signed six new players, including some of Europe’s finest talents, as the club look to close the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool.
Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva have all been signed, and in today’s rumours suggest that there could be even more business at Stamford Bridge.
With that being said, football.london takes a look at the very latest Chelsea-related transfer rumours.
Blues midfielder set for loan move
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is set to join West Bromwich Albion on loan for the season after signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge,
Gallagher looked set to move to Crystal Palace on loan before Michy Batshuayi joined the London-based club, and the Premier League’s rules are that a team is only allowed to sign one player on a temporary deal from another club.
Newly-promoted West Brom entered the race to sign the England Under-21 international, and it looks like they have secured the deal.
Gallagher was on loan at Charlton Athletic last season, and then Swansea City, and excelled in the Championship.
Chelsea are interested in signing West Ham United star Declan Rice and could offer one of four first-team players in order to fund a potential deal, the Daily Star are reporting.
Rice has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge all summer-long, and the report states that Chelsea have made him their number one target in the last four weeks of the transfer window.
The players that could be included in a swap deal for the England midfielder are Jorginho, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Andreas Christensen and Danny Drinkwater.
The Hammers are after £80m for Rice, and it appears that the Blues would be willing to include maybe more than just one player in order to reduce the cost.
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will remain at the club this season, according to his manager Frank Lampard.
The France star has been the subject of reported interest from Antonio Conte at Inter Milan, who are apparently preparing an offer.
However, Lampard has played down the chances of Kante leaving London this summer: “I think pretty much every club in the world would want N’Golo Kante.
“I have seen those reports as well. He is an incredible player and person and I certainly don’t want to lose him. He’s fundamental in terms of what I’m trying to do.”
