Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen suffered a German Cup upset on Wednesday when they were beaten 2-1 at home by second division Karlsruhe.
Leverkusen are fourth in the Bundesliga table but were stunned as South Korean forward Choi Kyoung-rok hit the winner in the second-round tie.
Leverkusen’s 16-year-old Spanish striker Iker Bravo, signed from Barcelona in the summer, had a debut to forget when he came off the bench and blasted over two golden chances.
At 16 years, nine months and 15 days, Bravo became the youngest player in Leverkusen’s history, eclipsing team-mate Florian Wirtz, who was 17 months, 15 days old when he made his debut last year.
Later Bayern Munich play Borussia Moenchengladbach away in their all-Bundesliga cup clash.
Holders Dortmund are already into Sunday’s draw for the third round after their 2-0 win at home over second-tier Ingolstadt Tuesday.
